Data deletion

This page explains how to have the data that Odepisuj holds about you deleted, and how to check where your request stands. The app is operated by Noeveris s.r.o. and runs at app.odepisuj.cz.

1. Deleting a contact's data

If you have been in touch with an Instagram account (you sent it a message or a comment) and you want your data erased, email info@odepisuj.cz or send a message to that account on Instagram. The workspace owner then deletes your contact in the app. This removes your profile, messages, attachments, comments, and any collected email addresses and phone numbers.

2. Removing the app in Instagram settings

You can remove the app's access in Instagram settings, under Apps and websites. Instagram then notifies our app, and we delete the data of the connected Instagram account within 24 hours. Instagram gives you a confirmation code at the same time. You can follow the request at https://app.odepisuj.cz/data-deletion/status/<code>, replacing <code> with your code.

3. Disconnecting an account as the owner

A workspace owner can disconnect an Instagram account in the app at any time. When disconnecting, the owner chooses whether to keep or delete the account's data. If the owner picks deletion, the account's conversations, messages, attachments, comments and access tokens are removed.

4. What is deleted and what remains

We delete all personal data tied to the contact or account, including attachments. Once deletion finishes, only a record that the request took place remains, without names or message text. We keep it in the audit log for 12 months as proof. Retention periods for other data are listed in the Privacy Policy.

5. Request status

The status page needs no sign-in: https://app.odepisuj.cz/data-deletion/status/<code>. It shows whether the request is received, in progress, or completed, and when. If we do not recognize a code, the page shows the same answer as for an invalid one. Questions about a request go to info@odepisuj.cz.
